It all began when a Santa met a clown….

Kris & Holly began in 2018 when Michael Sheinbaum, an experienced real-bearded Santa Claus, decided he wanted to entertain throughout the year. He then interviewed established year-round performers to learn more about what it takes to become a full time children’s entertainer. His first interview was with Renate McIntosh, a 30-year veteran who was well-known throughout the Delaware Valley.

A month later, Michael was asked to cover for a Santa who had a rare January Christmas assignment. An 18-year old girl and true believer in Santa was in a coma during the holiday season. The Santa who visited her each year was unavailable for a January visit and Michael volunteered to fill in. He remembered that Renate was a strong Mrs. Claus and asked her to join him.

Their experience was a life-changing one for both of them. Soon after, the two agreed that their journeys were best experienced together. They became the team of Kris & Holly and got married a year later in 2020.
